Hello, everyone!
My name is Taylor Myers and I am the artist of Aquilitz.com, and also the wordsmith’s wife. I have always loved art and my husband has always loved writing, our creative souls led us here to starting this website as a base for fulfilling our artistic outlets and sharing them with other creative souls. 
I graduated from Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis: IU School of Education and Herron School of Art and Design with a degree in Art Education. I worked my way through the three years I was in college at Woodland Country Club of Carmel where I have met amazing and supportive co-workers, as well as wonderful small-business-gone-big-business owners.
I currently have been teaching art to homeschool students through the Westfield Washington Public Library where they have an assortment of homeschool classes available to parents that are new to homeschooling.
As far as my actual art making skills, I like to think that I can both do it and teach it. I dabble in a little bit of everything. I love change and am constantly look for new things to teach my students, so there are all sorts of mediums I use in my personal artwork. I am an avid photographer and digital editor, watercolor and acrylic painter, and pencil/colored pencil artist. I have taken up woodworking and wood burning art (a great hobby that makes your whole house smell like a campfire!!!) and with this new business venture, am beginning to sell some of it so that I have more room to make more!
